Just kidding....

I belong to a non-profit, educational group known as the S.C.A. (Society For Creative Anachronism).

The S.C.A. is a medieval re-enactment group. The time period covered is approxamately 600 ad to 1600 ad. Members and non-members attending functions are encouraged to dress in a medieval style from somewhere in that time period. Once in the clothing we aspire to create a new 'persona' (or in other terms a fictional person who might have worn the styles of clothing you are trying to emulate). 'Valeria Asgautr' (az-gow-ter) is my persona within the S.C.A.

The S.C.A. is a world wide organization with many thousands of members. Other things the S.C.A. does (other than run around in funny clothing for fun) is demos and fundraisers for local charities, schools, etc.
